Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the National Association of Youth Chaplains (NAYC), a youth chaplaincy program developed by Dr. Alfred Correa designed to train chaplains to work with 21st century youth, who are un-churched or incarcerated, using a holistic approach to Clinical Chaplaincy.

The Association is CPE accredited by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP). This model seeks to build bridges between the first and current generations and between the secular and the sacred communities, by training practitioners to bring healing to urban communities through pastoral counseling and pastoral care to un-churched and incarcerated youth.

NAYC believes that what we do for our youth today, will determine how they will lead tomorrow.  We seek to work collaboratively with all faith groups and community programs to heal and transform our youth and communities both inside institutions and out in the community.

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT NAYC HAS PARTNERED WITH NEW YORK THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY (NYTS) – YOUTH CHAPLAINCY TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE NYTS CAMPUS FALL 2012 – REGISTRATION DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED –
